Below is an overview of the buttons on the Roku remote, how they work, and the standard behavior users expect when pressing them. Other buttons, like the Instant Replay or Star buttons, might seem a little more unique. Some buttons, like the dPad, are likely familiar to any user or developer. But the features it promised aren't there, which is the only reason I got it. The Roku remote is unique to the platform, with a specific set of buttons each triggering different commands.
Remap roku remote buttons pro#
Nothing changed with pro except themes, which who cares about it's like a once or twice opened app once it's setup you don't need to open again. Description said you can remap the power button, but it's still not listed. Which it doesn't mention anywhere.) Original review below with correction to only my wording slip of the word home to power: I had to unlock Pro by paying because the power button wasn't listed in the regular version, it said I needed pro. It lets you remap the proprietary channel buttons on the bottom of your Roku remote to whatever channel you want. (Not even going into how Bixby requires additional steps and hookup to a computer with use of ABD. As it has been on numerous other reviews. It should be noted the dev response was in no way "let me help", but combative and also false. But seeing as how the power button is neither a soft or display key that's irrelevant. It does clearly state Galaxy home soft keys are remappable, the only thing that isn't supposed to be remappable is display keys (virtual keys). Soft keys are different from display keys. But it no doubt said physical (hard keys) & capacitive (soft keys) were both remappable. Reading back through & seeing home so many times got it stuck in my head which is why I misspoke. However! It does clearly say in description that all physical & capacitive keys can be remapped, without root, specifically mentioning the home screen numerous times & specifically stating the capacitive home screen on Galaxy devices (I have screenshots of it). I updated because I misspoke & was referring to the power button.
